The speciAlps podcast follows on from the speciAlps 1 and speciAlps 2 projects carried out by CIPRA International and the Alliance in the Alps network of municipalities. The project has two focal points: On the one hand, the focus is on providing information for decision-makers and interested persons in the Alpine region on various topics related to visitor management. On the other hand, the project should contribute to networking and knowledge exchange across regional, national, cultural and linguistic borders. A webinar on the topic of "Nudging for Visitor Management" on 21 September 2023 and communication measures complement the project. The four podcast episodes will be published in spring, summer, autumn and winter 2023/24 in English and the main Alpine languages.

Dialogue and target groups:

  • Caretakers on the topic of visitor management.
  • Decision-makers in politics, tourism, regional development, nature conservation and people generally interested in sustainable tourism.
