Here we go! The sixth edition of the "Pitch Your Project" competition organised by EUSALP has started.
Who can participate? The competition is open to all young people from the Alpine region between the ages of 16 and 25.
The principle? All young people have the opportunity - individually or in groups - to develop a project aimed at strengthening the attractiveness and sustainable development of the Alpine region. Preparation for the competition can also be carried out as part of school, student or club projects.
Procedure: Young people have until 10 September to submit their project. After that, the jury will deliberate and the candidates who have submitted the five best projects will have the opportunity to present them in the final, which will take place in Strasbourg, the symbolic city of Europe, during the third week of November.
Prize money: Three projects, three prizes of 2000, 3000 and 5000 euros.
This year, four themes are proposed for the projects to be submitted:
- How to respond to climate change and promote sustainable management of resources, especially water?
- How can sustainable mobility be strengthened and the use of renewable energies expanded?
- How to strengthen the local circular economy and valorise alpine crafts?
- How to improve social inclusion in the Alpine Space and create intergenerational connections by relying on digitalisation?
Deadline: Attention: All projects must be submitted by 10 September!
