Climate Action: Energy for a Changing World

In December 2008 the European Commission adopted an integrated energy and climate change policy and defined specific targets for 2020.
The Commission has set out these objectives on the Climate Action web platform, along with related measures. Besides cutting greenhouse gases, the focus is on the use of renewable energies and increasing energy efficiency. There are also practical tips on how to cut household emissions and a link to the EU funding available for environmental and energy-related projects.
