Webinar: The journey of water

Where does it come from? Where does it go? Who owns it and who decides?

The project H2Opportunities invites you to a free webinar exploring the journey of water in the Alpine region. From rainfall, springs, groundwater, ice, and snow to its use in agriculture, industry, households, and finally to the rivers’ mouths – we will trace how water shapes everyday life and ecosystems.

Participants will hear from:

  • Polona Pengal (Revivo, Slovenia) on river restoration and fish projects, including the removal of a dam in Triglav National Park.

  • Stefano Terzi (EURAC Research) on projects along the Etsch / Adige River and how communities address water conflicts.

  • More speakers will follow shortly!

The webinar will be held in Englsih and combines scientific insights with practical examples and offers interactive Q&A sessions for direct exchange with the speakers.
