It has a twofold objective: on the one hand, the event will bring together high-level personalities acting for the Alpine region from the local to the European level, in order to reiterate their commitment to the Strategy and to explore new windows of opportunities. On the other hand, the event will be a time to present the results of the initiatives carried out during the year of the Presidency, and to discuss on the way forward preparing for the following French Presidency in 2020.

The opening for registrations for the 25th Edition of the Danilo Re Memorial – the trophy of the Alpine Protected Area is approaching! The event will take place on January 16th-19th 2020, in Mittersill/Kaprun, Hohe Tauren National Park, Salzburg, Austria. It will host, as usual, the ALPARC General Assembly, on January 17th. The “Danilo Re Memorial” is dedicated to a ranger of the province of Cuneo (Piemont, Italy) who died during his service in 1995. For many years, this is the occasion for the agents of the protected areas to meet.
