The brochure gives examples of how municipalities can through simple measures contribute to the improvement of ecological networking. Even small measures will add up to a coherent whole if they are integrated into an overall concept. The Alpine pilot regions, eight areas covering the entire Alpine area in which the first steps have been taken for the local implementation of a joint Alpine-wide network, are now showing the way. Some of the projects realized appear in this brochure. Networking measures make life better for animals and plants... and for people too!
