This illustrated book documents the different views of local populations on life in the Alps. The publication in three languages (de/it/en) is the result of the AlpConFoto photo competition, which was designed to publicise to a broader section of the population the objectives of the Alpine Convention and in particular the work achieved in the area of "Population and Culture". The competition was staged by the European Academy in Bolzano/I.
