The new degree programme "MSc Managing Sustainable Mountain Development" begins at Perth College/UK in August 2009.
The course was created for those with an interest in mountain environments and recognises the growing international attention being given to mountain regions. It aims to meet the needs of mountain communities by bringing together professional skills with economic, social and environmental knowledge, to offer a qualification for practitioners and agency officials working in mountain areas.
