The theme of the event included early geological research activities in the alpine region and the work of leading geologists from the Tyrol. The special edition of Geo.Alp, which is available in German and English, contains 16 contributions by 24 authors from five countries, which deal with subjects such as the first edition of a geological map of Tyrol dating from 1808 or the objectivity of scientific work in the early 19th century.
