As part of a comprehensive municipality development project entitled Le devéloppment durable à l´action [Sustainable development in action] the deserted hamlet of Ossona/Gréferic is to be rejuvenated for rural tourism. A joint venture is sought with other rural tourism facilities in Val d´Hérens. This project is part of DYNALP, an Interreg IIIB project of the network of municipalities.

Aims

Drawing-up of and implementation of a rural tourism concept for the Ossona/Gréféric plateau.

Realization

Revamping of the infrastructure on the Ossona/Gréféric plateau for tourism purposes.

Impact

The greater appeal of the tourist offer is to boost the number of overnight stays.

Involved

Municipality and private individuals, Swiss Federal Office of Agriculture, Cantonal Office for Agriculture of the Canton of Valais.
