Alpine Innovation for Combined Transport
In addition to technical innovations, the Interreg Alpine Space project "AlpInnoCT", is providing an access for transversal and transnational dialogues, between all actors of the alpine freight transport, at regional, national and European levels.
Expected results
- Description of the status quo of the European transport system with a focus on combined transport
- Recommendations for politics and economy, about suitable models of combined transport
- Guidelines for the integration of intermodal approaches into the everyday life of freight forwarders and port operators
- Alpine-wide dialogue platform with dialogue events for the exchange of knowledge and capabilities
- Toolbox for implementation with all compiled experiences

CIPRA Lab GmbH and Alpeninitiative are involved in the work packages T1 (Combined Transport and Production: Analysis and Basics), as well as the main responsibility for the work package T5 (Toolbox of Action / Dialogue Events).
This project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund and supported within this framework for three years by the Interreg Alpine Space Program.
