Call for abstracts: Climate change in mountainous areas
The European Meteorological Society is calling for abstracts for their annual meeting, the European Conference for Applied Meteorology and Climatology 2018. The session OSA3.4 is focusing on climate change in mountainous areas and was proposed in the frame of the Carpathian Convention, the Permanent Secretariat of the Alpine Convention joined the Pyrenean Climate Change Observatory as supporter. This session welcomes contributions in connection with mountain climate, climate change, changing climate extreme events, natural disasters and other climate related socioeconomic impacts. Adaptation actions and best practices are also welcomed.
