EDUMAT - Learning materials about Biosphere Reserve theme
The Grosses Walsertal is since November 2000 a Biosphere Reserve recognised by UNESCO; since then it has belonged to the global network of model regions for sustainable development. Alongside nature protection, research and environmental education, sustainable development plays a significant role in the Biosphere Reserve. The creation of awareness for a non-destructive approach to resources begins already in the first school years. The Objective of the DYNALP project is to prepare materials and worksheets about the Biosphere Reserve theme for teachers, so that they can be properly included in classes in primary and secondary schools.
