New issue of the Eco.mont magazine

The latest issue of eco.mont - Journal on Protected Mountain Areas Research is now available. It features scientific articles from European mountain regions and the Himalayas, with articles on amphibians, visitor monitoring, information management, resource utilisation, and the perception of biodiversity changes.

Twice a year eco.mont publishes peer-reviewed research articles and reports in English on protected mountain areas. Besides publications on management tasks in protected mountain areas and the implementation of protection concepts the magazine also addresses issues relating to sustainable regional development, special research findings on flora and fauna, as well as geographic mountain research. Other key topics include global change and its impact on mountain areas as well as the ecology of alpine landscapes.
