Jul 13, 2010 / cc.alps
Autumn 2010 is to see the start of the first climate projects as part of a transnational LEADER project initiated by CIPRA. LEADER regions from Austria, Germany, Italy, Slovenia and dedicated regions in Switzerland and France want to implement sustainable climate response measures and exchange their knowledge and experience at workshops and field trips.

The main themes are renewable energies, climate-friendly mobility, tourism and agriculture, which the partner regions are to looking to address over the next three years. CIPRA is supporting this project with background information and the experience gained from the cc.alps project: the cc.alps compacts, a sustainability check-list for climate response measures and a catalogue of more than 150 suggested measures.
