The Alpine Space Programme has organised in 2010/2011 a series of three thematic events to fine tune its strategic orientation and take a close look at major challenges affecting the cooperation area. To close the events trilogy, an event was organised focusing on the competitiveness of the region. It aimed at identifying endogenous potentials, reinforcing cluster development and governance and inspiring actors to grasp development opportunities for their regions.
These conclusions will be taken note of by the Alpine Space Programme, they will enhance concerted action between players and European funding instruments in the cooperation area and will serve as a signpost for new project ideas in the field of competitiveness.
