Opportunities and Challenges within the 2007-2013 EU Financial Framework
Regional development and regional management typically involve NETWORKING – with all the advantages and obstacles that entails.
The workshop in Salzburg will focus on the following key questions among others:
- How can networking between regional actors be improved so as to reduce frictional losses and competing interests and make better use of synergies?
- What is available in the way of methods, instruments and positive experiences in regional governance and network building?
The programme comprises a combination of talks and group-working sessions. Attendees will be able to learn from experts to further enhance their competence for working in the field, to expose their views and working methods to critical reflection, and to generally benefit from the exchange of experience.
Target group: Regional managers, heads of regional working groups, regional authorities, regional planning and regional development specialists, NGOs, training providers.
