10th International Symposium on High Mountain Remote Sensing Cartography
8 - 11 september 2008
The Tenth International Symposium on High Mountain Remote Sensing Cartography (HMRSC X) will be held in Kathmandu, Nepal from 8-11 September 2008. The subject of High Mountain Remote Sensing Cartography is not new to the Himalayan region. In 1992, when the Second Symposium on High Mountain Remote Sensing Cartography (HMRSC II) was held in Beijing and Lhasa, the International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD) hosted the oral presentation in Kathmandu.
