They will offer the opportunity to exchange experiences on climate change vulnerabilities, to share and learn from good practice city adaptation case studies, and to voice opinions on current and future needs on adaptation. Each Stakeholder Dialogue will discuss themes such as coastal impacts and sea-level rise, flooding, water scarcity, and extreme heat suited to the regional context.
        <dc:publisher>No publisher</dc:publisher>
        <dc:rights></dc:rights>
        <dc:type>CipraEvent</dc:type>

The combination of these events is an opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience on scientific and applied research on alpine lakes and sustainable water resource management.
The SILMAS partners will present the results of three years work on education and sustainable developement, conflict solving tools and consequences of climate change for human activities.
Future changes in the Alpine climate (average temperatures, extreme temperatures, rainfall patterns, etc.) will affect the catchment area of lakes. How can we face these changes? Political and scientific representatives will share experiences and exchange adjustment strategies during a panel discussion. The conference will be enriched by members of SIL with contributions about scientific and applied investigations on water ecological issues.
The evening program will offer opportunities for interdisciplinary and transnational communication.
The official language is English.
