Projects completed
CIPRA is responsible for a wide variety of projects. Many have been completed; some deserve to be remembered. The following is a list of projects that were particularly important for CIPRA.
Disseminating knowledge – networking people, this is the motto of Future in the Alps. Future in the Alps is a broad-based knowledge management project run by CIPRA for the promotion of sustainable development in the Alpine region. People, businesses and institutions can network in order to share and implement know-how and information and thus stimulate sustainable development in the Alps. More |

From 1998 to 2004, more than 120 persons from nine different countries attended the Summer Academies organised by CIPRA under the heading “Focus on the Alps”. The three-week courses provided participants with a holistic view of the Alps. More

Together with the Liechtenstein Alpine Club, CIPRA co-ordinated Liechtenstein’s activities in the framework of the International Year of Mountains in 2002. They organised a large number of activities – excursions, exhibitions, walks, lectures, etc. – relating to the Alps and mountains in general. More |
