ALPSTAR: Towards Carbon Neutral Alps – Make Best Practice Minimum Standard

Die Alpen bis 2050 zur klimaneutralen Region machen, das ist Ziel des Alpine Space Projekts ALPSTAR, Towards Carbon Neutral Alps – Make Best Practice Minimum Standard. Bei der Eröffnungskonferenz am 27. und 28. Oktober 2011 in Chambéry wurde gefragt, welche Politik es für Energie, Verkehr und Wirtschaft braucht, damit die Alpen klimaneutral werden. Und es wurden Konzepte gesucht für eine gute Klima-Governance und eine erfolgreiche Kommunikation. Beispiele für nachhaltigen Klimaschutz in Chambéry lernten die TeilnehmerInnen in einer halbtägigen Exkursion kennen. In Arbeitsgruppen wurde ausserdem über Massnahmen, Strategien und Herausforderungen zu ausgewählten Aspekten der Klimaneutralität diskutiert.
