The plan proposes to produce energy using renewable sources, reducing in this way the dependence on fossil fuels and, at the same time, the pollutant emissions.
On its territory the municipality of Selva Val Gardena has 2400m2 of solar thermic panels and 995m2/1.000 inhabitants. This value includes public and private installations. In the last year they have added 400m2 of panels.
Selva Val Gardena has a little bit more than 2.500 inhabitants and houses with 2.400m2 of solar panels, with an average of 995m2/1.000 inhabitants. This result is higher than the European aim fixed on 264m2/1.000 inhabitants.
