To estimate waste and reduce the energy consumption of public and private buildings in the Valley. To support plans of new buildings that use energy produced by renewable sources.
The plan has been realized thanks to funds of the Ministry of the Environment (150.000 Euro) and the economic resources of Mountain Community (15.000 Euro). Activities: collection and settlement of data to give a thermal-energetic characterization of the buildings; collection of the consumption data: thermal energy, electric energy, drinking water (if available); elaboration of consumption data and settlement of consumption index; formation and information activities dedicated to public administrators and technicians, planners, installers and craftsmen.
The plan allows to monitor energy consumption of public and private buildings situated in the Valley, to quantify the energy waste and develop possibilities to reduce consumption. Through an "energy enclosure" it supplies a common know-how to plan, build and restore buildings suited to the requirements of the municipalites in the Valley.
