In the region of Southern Burgenland there are several green energy power plants. There is a large interest in green energy but there is no sort of touristic commercialization because of shortage in know how and personnel. This project tries to establish scientific and informational tourism around Güssing in the field of renewable energy.

The project is a great contribution for the regional development. Employment for women was created in challenging occupational fields. Special programmes which raise awareness are also attractive for tourism (especially because of the combination of culture, technology and gastronomy).
