:
As the other Alpine Pearls characterized by “soft” mobility , the localities situated in the Province of Bolzano promote the arrival and the movement of tourists using public transports.

public transports,
tourism

The plan aims to reduce the use of private means of transportation by the use of public transport for the arrival and the local movements of tourists in the area.

In June 2007 a new concept of mobility became effective in the following localities: buses run more frequently between Nova Ponente, Nova Levante/Passo di Costalungua, Collepietra and Bolzano; and 6 times a day between Saint-Cyprien and Pietralba through Passo di Costalunga, Nova Levante,Ponte Nova, Ega, Obereggen, Nova Ponente and Monte San Pietro. Also Vigo di Fassa is now reachable every two hours. Tourists that spend their holidays in the Catinaccio-Latemar’s region can find means of Integrated Transport. Buying the "Mobilcard" (it costs €8,00) they can travel for 7 days on all regional bus routes. Children until the age of 6 travel for free and from age 6 to 16 they just have to pay € 4,00. An excursion- taxi is available 24 hours a day.

Tourists should reduce the use of private means of transports which leads to a reduction of pollutant emissions.
