Spread the knowledge about the so-called "clean" energies, make the Province Verbania-Cusio-Ossola a leading model on the production of energy from renewable sources.
The Centre (show room and classroom) is situated in a restored shed nearby the Provincial Administration. The hospitality building of the centre is equiped with low-emission panes and a cover to diminish energy losses. It is lighted with energy-saving lamps and it is equiped with a photovoltaic system and a thermal solar plant.
The “Centro del Sole” works for the promotion and the spread of energy saving measures and the use of renewable sources to citizens and companies of the Province Verbania-Cusio-Ossola. The Centre organizes training courses, conferences, technical meetings, school activities and supplies information and documentation to citizens and concerns.
