Renewable Energy

To spread domestic heating systems fed by woody biomass. To limit greenhouse gas emissions and replace traditional fossil fuel with renewable energy sources. Wood represents a good alternative to fossil fuels both for the economy and the environment.

The Energy Councelor's office of the Province of Udine has created an experimental fund to finance boilers fed by biomass named "Biomass Provincial Fund": This fund provides financial support for citizens who buy buy and install a boiler (40% of the expenses). In this way the Energy Councelor intends to favour the diffusion of economically competitive and technological advanced installations pursuing a competitive and sustainable development compared to fossil energy sources.

33 new domestic installation have been already financed with a subsidy of about 6.000 Euro each.
