photovoltaic energy

The plan purposes to produce “clean” energy exploiting the sun and reduce the dependence on fossil resources.

The CPL Concordia company has realized on behalf of the municipality of Carano a photovoltaic plant using 2.946 monocrystalline silicon panels, 2.856 of them are fixed and 90 follow the sun movement rotating on a vertical axis. CPL has realized the first Italian antitheft alarm applied to photovoltaic to protect the plant.

The Energy produced by the plant covers the energy needs of more than 3/4 of the residential population. The costs for the plant(3.200.000 Euro) will be amortized in the first ten years of utilization.
