The plan proposes to produce energy from renewable sources (biomass) and to attain a strong reduction in CO2 emissions. The measure aims at reducing the output of carbon dioxide by 8.800 tons annually and to save 4 million liters of fuel oil.

The measure aims at reducing the output of carbon dioxide by 8.800 tons annually and to save up to 4 million liters of fuel oil. The regional value chain is also strenghtened since a new market for wood chips and log residues was created. The measure also contributes to forest care.
Offering biomass energy to public and private users.
According to Naturwärme Reit about 7 million kg of carbon dioxide have been avoided, which adds up to a saved 3,7 Million liters of heating fuel.
