Abstract

This book focuses on various aspects connected to depopulation of mountainous areas, trying to delineate the most complete description of this phenomenon form the territorial point of view and describing the complexity of cause and effect in order to organize the interventions on political level on a more effective basis. The book is divided in four parts describing historical, territorial, environmental and political/cultural aspects of mountainous depopulation.
