Abstract
In 2001, ASTRA (Swiss federal road authority) launched the project "Sustainability indicators for road infrastructure projects" (NISTRA - Nachhaltigkeitsindikatoren für Strasseninfrastrukturprojekte) to develop a methodology, with which the sustainability of road infrastructure projects can be examined.
