Abstract

The volume presents a picture of the agriculture in the Alps, underlining the differences related to the diverse institutional systems involved in the promotion and maintenance of this activity. Starting from this analysis, numerous experts identify a series of policies for sustainable agriculture, especially considering the measures included in the Agriculture Protocol of the Alpine Convention.
