Abstract

The volume presents a series of files dedicated to the indicators for the assessment of environmental sustainability (part I), economic sustainability (part II) and social sustainability (part III) of tourist dynamics. Each indicator is briefly described with some notes related to the elaboration of data and to the fonts analysed. The methodologies contained in the volume can be applied in other alpine contexts and they are useful for the comparison between positive and negative aspects of tourism, which is one of the most important economic resources of mountain regions and that has to be planned following the indicators of sustainability.
