Abstract
The book represents the latest results of the scientific debate around sustainable development and its instruments. The first three chapters analyse the ideas on development and sustainable development, the principal instruments of intervention and the ways that they can be used in different social system. The last six chapters are dedicated to the analysis of sustainability in the economic, political, military, scientific and cultural system.
