Abstract
This guideline gives step-by-step instructions for the realisation of cooperative nature protection projects. The author’s intention is to improve the project management competence of the persons involved in sovereign as well as non-sovereign projects. The described project management methods and tools and further suggestions shall contribute to improve project preparation, design, implementation and aftercare operations. The aim is to enhance the feasibility and the acceptance of nature protection projects. The appreciate interaction with the interests and needs of the involved is described as an important requirement for the success of a project. Checklists with questions for each project step and an extensive toolbox are part of the publication.
