Abstract

According to the global and under international law binding strategy Agenda 21 (Rio-conference in 1992, respectively annualy following conferences - eg. CSD-7 in 1999), the report describes basic principles and indicators of sustainable tourism, relevant evaluation systems and provides an overview of realised measures, which have been set to reach the objectives in Austria.
