Abstract
Guide for e.g. local associations, collectives, neighbour groups or local authorities to invite the (local) population or interest groups to participate in local inititatives. It highlights the motivations for people to get involved in local projects. The book includes also a discussion of the role of the facilitator in a dynamic group and project building process. Questions of legitimacy of the projects ideas or the group formation are equally adressed. Chapter 3 discusses participative methodology and methods and provides good practice examples.
