Abstract

Orée is a non-profit organization founded in 1992 to promote partnership between firms and local authorities. Amongst other things, its aims are spreading an up-to-date and exhaustive information about environmental management and developing tools that will help enterprises and local athorities integrate environmental aspects in their daily management. Orée promotes dialogue between all the players of the environmental scene and encourages them to work together and exchange information upstream decisions. The publication at hand - the vademecum - summarises experiences from different projects lead or accompanied by Orée. The authors try to present instruments and procedures, which are adapted to different situations before, during and after a concertation procedure. The publication provides useful and established procedural information for project responsibles engaged in private or public sector projects.
