- Short description
- * Project updated on 25 April 2007 according to information from the project contact persons * Endogenous regional development is very important in Lower Austria. The regional economic plan of central Lower Austria is based on the develpoment objectives of Lower Austria. It consists of guidelines for regional development and several key projects for the region. About 250 people were involved directly and indirectly. The participation process (Bürgerforum, internet-site and workshops) with administrative staff, experts, residents and stakeholders was very innovative. The instrument 'innovation compass' was adopted the first time to valuate a region, as well as a 'systemische Aufstellung' for a part-region.
