Objectives
Institutionalizing a worker's association and versatile employments in order to resist the problems of regional economic crisis or economic transition in a peripheral region and to coordinate between market needs and local labour market
Activities
Building up the association "projet 04" (formerly "Association Lichens") as an interface between workers (trade and industry) and the potential customers; developing versatile employments
Process
Linking the knowledge and the objectives of the workers themselves (trade and industry), the intermediate group (Projet 04), the potential customers and local, regional and national administration (e.g. for subsidies)
Results
Association "projet 04" (formerly "Association Lichens") as an interface between workers (trade and industry) and the potential customers; two workers groups operational: one group including 15 workers to support local stock farmers and forest operation; and a second group to execute different types of work in the field of forestry and agriculture. Other groups adapted to the needs of women are planned.
