Short description
The project 'Town and Congress Hall Regensburg' has a long history with plenty of conflicts. The City of Regensburg has intended to build this hall since the 1980ies, the project and the location 'Donaumarkt' have always been discussed controversally by the public. After 15 years of emotional conflicts and several expert reports on the location, the City of Regensburg decided to open a mediation process with residents, stakeholders, experts and administration. Several locations were checked. A consensus was written down, three locations were recommended as a decision-guidance for the city council. Nevertheless a decision about the location could not be made to this day.
