Short description
"Switzerland rolls" is the free rental of bicycles, e-bikes und skateboards in six Swiss cities (Berne, Geneva, Lausanne, Neuchâtel, Thune, Zurich) during the summer period. The rental stations are operated in co-operation with social projects of the respective cities (employment and reintegration programs). The project was supported by the program Swiss energy of the Federal Office of Energy until 2005. However, the major part of the project budget is covered by the social budget of the respective city administration.
