Short description
With the reopening of the Vinschgauer-Bahn Mals-Meran and the extension of the Postauto course Zernez-Müstair to Mals on 05.05.2005, the gap in the transnational transport chain Grisons – South Tyrol was closed. Therewith, a peripheral region could be connected to the Swiss (Zurich) and South Tyrolean (Meran, Bozen) economic centres to help for a regional balance.
